The Wood Dog Ear mounting bracket is used on wood picket fence styles. Most Dog Ear pickets are rounded (or notched) at the top.

These rollers are genius. We have a 6' fence our dog keeps jumping over, so we installed a coyote roller where she was getting over. Turns out, she's smarter than we gave her credit for so she's jumping the fence next to where we placed the roller. It was easy to install, but the measurements didn't include the extra space on the ends, so it was a little bit longer than 4' and we had to cut it. It's impossible to get the end caps out without extra tools, so be sure to buy a couple of extra of those if you purchase a prefabbed kit. We are so impressed with how well the roller works we just bought another 28' to line the rest of our fence!
